UpSurge Pros ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to complying with Meta's (Facebook & Instagram) data policies. If you have used your Facebook or Instagram account to log in to or interact with our application, you have the right to request the deletion of any data we have collected through those platforms.

What Data We Collect via Facebook/Instagram

When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account with our services, we may collect:

  • Your name and profile information
  • Email address associated with your Facebook/Instagram account
  • Facebook or Instagram User ID
  • Page and business account information (if applicable)
  • Ad account data and campaign metrics (if applicable)
  • Lead form submissions and associated contact details

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your data in any of the following ways:

1. Email Request

Send an email to info@upsurgecrmpros.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your Facebook/Instagram account
  • Your Facebook or Instagram User ID (if known)
  • A description of the data you would like deleted

2. Remove Access via Facebook Settings

You can also remove our app's access to your data directly through Facebook:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings
  2. Navigate to Apps and Websites
  3. Find UpSurge Pros and click Remove
  4. Check the box to Delete all posts, photos, and videos on Facebook that the app may have published on your behalf
  5. Click Remove to confirm

After you remove our app, we will receive a notification from Meta and will delete your data from our systems within the timeframe specified below.

What Happens After Your Request

  • We will acknowledge your deletion request within 48 hours.
  • All data associated with your Facebook/Instagram account will be permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 days of your request.
  • Residual copies in backup systems will be purged within 90 days.
  • Once deletion is complete, we will send you a confirmation email (if an email address was provided with the request).

Data We May Retain

In certain cases, we may be required to retain limited data for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Records required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance
  • Data necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements
  • Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be used to identify you

Any retained data will be kept securely and only for as long as legally necessary.

Data Deletion Callback URL

In compliance with Meta Platform Terms, our application supports the data deletion callback. When a user removes our app from their Facebook account, Meta sends a deletion request to our servers, and we automatically process the removal of all associated user data.
